Welcome to the New Urban Mobility

The Third Transportation Revolution is here. The world’s urban mobility ecosystem has seen a shift reflecting new technologies, shared transportation systems, and rights-of-way usage (roads, “bike” lanes, sidewalks). Micro-Mobility (mini-EVs, bikes, e-scooters, e-skateboards, etc.) is a sea change that’s already here and needs to be addressed, as autonomous vehicles and flying “cars” are on the horizon.

The policy and design challenges surrounding this new and growing type of personal mobility are issues which governments, businesses, advocacy groups, and regular citizens are all struggling to address.
